Today's Client: Hidemi's Arabian Night

Tonight was Hidemi's Winter Ball at her school and the theme was Arabian Nights. She was wearing a metallic black dress and wanted the makeup to compliment it with a smokey eye look. Since she is still a teen, I kept the eyes a little bit toned down by using grey tones, adding iridescent shimmer on the center of the lids to add dimension and metallic silver in the inner corners to open up the eyes. The cheeks were light and glowy using a touch of matte bronzer, matte peach blush and a shimmery golden highlight on the cheekbones. I finished the look with a soft, light peachy nude gloss for the lips. She wanted loose curls for her hair so I used the Cortex 4 in 1 Curling Iron Set in the 1.5 inch size. The total look has the sparkle and sultriness, that is still age appropriate for a school dance.
